AC Milan Pursues Krosche for Senior Role; Amorim, Jaissle Emerge as Top Coach Candidates
AC Milan is reportedly advancing in its search for new leadership personnel. Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Marcus Krosche has emerged as a leading candidate for a senior management position within the club, with ongoing negotiations. Concurrently, Ruben Amorim and Matthias Jaissle are now considered the frontrunners for the head coach role, potentially surpassing Oliver Glasner.
AC Milan's leadership structure is beginning to take shape with developments concerning both a senior management role and the head coach position.
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Marcus Krosche is reportedly a leading candidate for a significant role at AC Milan. Transfer expert Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel via MilanNews, indicated that Krosche is seen as an ideal fit for RedBird’s vision and is genuinely interested in joining the Italian club. Moretto stated that Krosche is “fascinated by Milan” and that negotiations are ongoing. Discussions are advanced, suggesting Krosche could join as either a technical director or sporting director.
On the coaching front, Ruben Amorim and Matthias Jaissle have reportedly moved ahead of Oliver Glasner in the race for the head coach position. Moretto identified Amorim and Jaissle as the two strongest candidates. Amorim, formerly associated with Sporting, is considered the most realistic option from both an economic and practical standpoint. Moretto noted that, “From an economic and feasibility point of view, the Portuguese is the most accessible,” while Oliver Glasner has significantly lost ground.
These developments suggest that the Rossoneri's restructuring efforts are gaining momentum after a period of inactivity. The potential appointment of a senior sporting figure like Krosche could precede and influence the final decision regarding who will take charge of the first team.
