Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Fainaron (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit or use our website.
Information we collect
- Usage data: pages visited, referrer, approximate location (country/region), browser/device type. We use this strictly for aggregated analytics.
- Anonymous visitor count: we record a one-way hashed identifier (IP + user agent) per day to count unique visitors. We do not store raw IP addresses for analytics purposes.
- Contact form: name, email, subject and message you submit voluntarily. Used only to respond to you.
- Cookies: minimal cookies for site preferences (e.g., dark mode). If Google Analytics or AdSense is enabled by the operator, those services may set their own cookies.
How we use information
- To operate, maintain and improve Fainaron.
- To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud and abuse.
- To respond to your contact requests.
- To produce aggregate, non-identifying analytics.
Third-party services
We may use third-party services such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense. These services have their own privacy policies and may collect information directly from your device subject to their terms.
Content sources and AI processing
Fainaron aggregates and rewrites publicly available news content from RSS feeds and similar sources using AI. We always link back to the original publisher and credit them on every article. If you are a publisher and want a story removed, please use the contact form.
Data retention
We retain anonymous analytics for as long as needed to provide the service. Contact form submissions are kept until the operator deletes them from the admin panel.
Your rights
You may contact us at any time to request access to or deletion of any personal data you submitted via the contact form.
Children
Fainaron is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
