Amazon Audible Offers Three-Month Promotional Subscription for $0.99 Per Month

Audible has initiated a promotional offer, allowing new and returning subscribers to obtain three months of the Audible Standard subscription for $0.99 per month. This offer is independent of an Amazon Prime membership.

Following the three-month promotional period, the subscription will automatically convert to the standard monthly rate of $8.95. Subscribers who do not wish to continue with the service at the full price must cancel their subscription before the promotional period concludes.

Audible offers two subscription tiers: Standard and Premium Plus. The Standard tier costs $8.95 per month, while Premium Plus is priced at $14.95 per month. Both tiers provide access to a catalog of over a million audiobooks. The primary distinction lies in audiobook ownership: Standard subscribers receive one free audiobook per month, which they can listen to as long as their membership is active. Premium Plus subscribers also receive one free audiobook per month, which they retain indefinitely.

The Audible library includes various popular titles. Rebecca Yarros's "The Empyrean Series" of romantasy novels, which have appeared on the New York Times' best-seller list throughout 2025, are available. Suzanne Collins's "Sunrise on the Reaping," the latest "Hunger Games" novel, is narrated by Jefferson White and has a listening time of approximately 12 hours and 48 minutes. Matt Dinniman's "Dungeon Crawler Carl" series, narrated by Jeff Hays, is also featured.

Additionally, Stephen King's 2025 crime novel "Never Flinch," narrated by Jessie Mueller, is available as a nearly 15-hour audiobook. Brandon Sanderson's "Wind and Truth," the fifth book in "The Stormlight Archive" series, released in December 2024, is also part of the catalog and runs for about 63 hours.
