Analyst Declares Iran War a 'Strategic Disaster' for Israel
A senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace has described the "Iran war" as a "strategic disaster for the state of Israel." According to Aaron David Miller, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's war aims, including weakening the Iranian regime or restricting ballistic missiles, have not been achieved. This assessment comes as Netanyahu reportedly faces a "collision course" with U.S. President Donald Trump, who is seeking to withdraw from the conflict, with both leaders' objectives currently unfulfilled.

The "Iran war" has been identified as a "strategic disaster for the state of Israel," according to Aaron David Miller, a Senior Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.
Miller stated that all of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's stated war aims have gone unfulfilled. These objectives included diminishing support for proxies, imposing restrictions on ballistic missiles, and either overthrowing or weakening the Iranian regime. None of these goals, he noted, have been realized.
This analysis emerges amidst reports of a growing divide between Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump. President Trump is reportedly attempting to disengage from the ongoing conflict. Both leaders' broader objectives remain unmet, and Israeli military operations are described as being tied down in Lebanon.
According to France 24, Miller made these remarks during an interview with Sharon Gaffney.
