Argentina's monthly inflation rate saw a further slowdown in May, reaching 2.1%. This figure, released by the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INDEC), represents the second consecutive month of deceleration in consumer price increases.
The recorded 2.1% monthly inflation is half a percentage point lower than the rate reported in April. This suggests a continued easing of price pressures within the Argentine economy.
For the first five months of the current year, the cumulative inflation rate stands at 14.7%.
