Beijing's Xia Baolong to Visit Hong Kong for Northern Metropolis Review
Xia Baolong, Director of the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office, is scheduled to visit Hong Kong on Tuesday and Wednesday. His itinerary includes an inspection of the Northern Metropolis project. Sources indicate that the Chief Executive will join him as he examines a cross-border technology cooperation platform during the two-day visit. Xia Baolong, the senior official from Beijing overseeing Hong Kong affairs, is set to arrive in the city on Tuesday for a two-day visit, concluding on Wednesday.
A primary objective of his visit is to assess the progress of the Northern Metropolis project. Additionally, sources suggest that Mr. Xia will investigate a cross-border technology cooperation platform. The city's Chief Executive is also expected to accompany him during parts of his inspection.
