Boox has introduced a new iteration of its compact e-reader, the Go 6 (Gen II), which expands its capabilities to include note-taking. The device maintains a 6-inch, 300PPI E Ink screen, consistent with the previous model.
Key enhancements for the Go 6 (Gen II) include an upgrade in RAM from 2GB to 3GB. The e-reader now supports Boox's InkSense Plus stylus, which facilitates various functions such as sketching, document annotation, and generating handwritten notes.
The Boox Go 6 (Gen II) is currently available for preorder at a price of $199.99. The InkSense Plus stylus is sold separately for $45.99. Customers can also purchase a bundle including both the e-reader and the stylus for $232.99. Shipping for the new device is anticipated to commence on June 17th.
According to The Verge, this new e-reader could serve as an alternative to other dedicated e-readers and digital notepads.
