Cancelled GoldenEye 007 Xbox 360 Version Released as Native PC Port
The previously cancelled Xbox 360 version of the classic game GoldenEye 007 has been released for PC. Known as GoldenEye Recomp v1.0, this project provides a native PC port by statically recompiling the original game into C++. Developers confirm that this release operates as a true native executable, eliminating the need for emulation.

A new PC port of GoldenEye 007, derived from the unreleased Xbox 360 version, has been made available. The project, titled GoldenEye Recomp v1.0, aims to deliver a direct PC experience of the classic title.
This release distinguishes itself by being a native PC port, achieved through the static recompilation of the original game's code into C++. According to the developers, this method allows the game to run as a native executable on PC platforms, bypassing any requirement for emulation.
The initiative focuses on bringing the content from the abandoned Xbox 360 iteration of GoldenEye 007 to modern PC users, providing a different experience from other versions of the game.
