MetaX Integrated Circuits Shanghai Co., a Chinese chipmaker, intends to list shares in Hong Kong. This strategic plan is designed to leverage the prevailing boom in chip stocks, following what was described as a successful initial public offering (IPO) in mainland China last year.
The company, also referred to as MetaX LLC, maintained a booth at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) in Shanghai, China. Attendees visited the MetaX LLC booth on Thursday, July 6, 2023. The WAIC event took place from July 6 through July 8, 2023.
According to Bloomberg Markets, the Hong Kong listing represents MetaX's effort to further expand its market presence.
