DC Comics Announces Batman, Superman, and "Weird Al" Yankovic Crossover Comic
DC Comics has unveiled a new one-shot comic titled "Batman/Superman/Weird Al: World’s Weirdest #1," featuring an unlikely team-up between the Dark Knight, the Man of Steel, and musician "Weird Al" Yankovic. The story involves the Fifth Dimension and Earth being struck by an affliction that renders everything dull and ordinary. Mr. Mxyzptlk enlists Batman and Superman to address the issue, leading to a call for "Weird Al" Yankovic's unique assistance.

DC Comics is set to release "Batman/Superman/Weird Al: World’s Weirdest #1," a new crossover comic that brings together three distinct figures: Batman, Superman, and "Weird Al" Yankovic.
The one-shot adventure will see the heroes and the musician traverse the Fifth Dimension. The plot centers on an affliction that is making both the Fifth Dimension and Earth dull and ordinary. When Mr. Mxyzptlk seeks help from Superman and Batman, the same plague has already begun to affect Earth, leading to the involvement of "Weird Al" Yankovic.
Mark Waid, known for his work on "Batman/Superman: World's Finest," is the writer for the issue. Interior art and the main cover are provided by Dan Schoening. DC Comics has also indicated that Yankovic himself contributes "vibes" to the comic.
This is not Yankovic's first interaction with DC characters; he previously guest-starred in an episode of "Batman: The Brave and the Bold," which also featured Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang.
"Batman/Superman/Weird Al: World’s Weirdest #1" is scheduled for release on September 2.
According to IGN, the comic will be available for preorder at local comic shops.
