Facer and Citizen Launch Free World Cup Watch Face for Wear OS
Facer and Citizen have introduced "Kick It," a new free Wear OS watch face designed for FIFA World Cup fans. This watch face delivers live, licensed tournament data, including scores, headlines, and standings, directly to compatible smartwatches. It also features automatic color shifts to match a user's chosen team and plays a crowd chant at the top of every hour.
Facer and Citizen have officially launched "Kick It," a free watch face available for Wear OS smartwatches. This new offering is specifically designed for soccer fans tracking the FIFA World Cup, providing real-time tournament information directly to their wrists.
The "Kick It" watch face integrates live, licensed World Cup data, offering users access to current scores, top headlines, and team standings. Beyond data delivery, the watch face enhances the fan experience by automatically adjusting its color scheme to align with the user's selected team. It also utilizes Facer’s Face Chime feature to play a crowd chant every hour.
Currently, the "Kick It" watch face is available for free to users in the United States, Canada, Japan, and the United Kingdom. It is compatible with smartwatches running Wear OS 6. Plans for an European Union launch are expected in the near future.
According to Android Authority, this launch follows a partnership that was initially hinted at during CES.
