HKEX and AIFC Engage Kazakh Miners for Dual Listings in Hong Kong
The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and Hong Kong's stock exchange (HKEX) are actively discussing dual-listing opportunities with mining companies in Kazakhstan. This initiative builds on a significant listing case from the previous year. AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov noted that these efforts are supported by partnership agreements signed during Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu's recent visit to Central Asia.

The Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) and Hong Kong’s bourse (HKEX) are actively engaging with mining companies based in Kazakhstan. The primary goal of these discussions is to explore potential dual-listing opportunities for these companies in Hong Kong.
This current initiative follows a groundbreaking listing case that occurred last year. The AIFC, which functions as Kazakhstan's special financial zone, is playing a key role in these ongoing engagements.
According to AIFC Governor Renat Bekturov, these efforts are reinforced by several partnership agreements. These agreements were established between the AIFC and Hong Kong during a recent visit by Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-chiu to Central Asia earlier this month.
