Indian Seafarers Die Off Oman Amid Claims of US Blockade
Four Indian sailors have died in recent maritime incidents off the coast of Oman. One 35-year-old seafarer reportedly succumbed to medical complications, with crew members citing a US blockade in the Strait of Hormuz as hindering efforts to provide help or evacuate him. The day prior, three other Indian sailors were killed when a tanker anchored nearby was bombed. These events have drawn attention to the volatile maritime conditions in the region.

A 35-year-old Indian seafarer died last Thursday on a vessel operating off Oman, reportedly due to medical complications. Crew members on board attempted to preserve the body using cold water bottles to slow decomposition.
Assistance and evacuation for the ailing seafarer were not possible, a situation attributed to an alleged US blockade in the Strait of Hormuz. This claim suggests that the blockade impeded the ability to provide necessary medical aid or transport the individual from the ship.
On the preceding day, three more Indian sailors were killed. Their deaths occurred when a tanker, which was moored in the vicinity, was subjected to a bombing.
