Karlovy Vary Festival Unveils Central Stage Projects and Book-to-Screen Selections
The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) has announced its selections for two key industry programs. KVIFF Promises revealed works-in-progress projects from Central Europe chosen for the KVIFF Central Stage showcase. Additionally, the festival launched the inaugural Book-to-Screen at KVIFF, an initiative designed to connect books with potential film adaptation deals.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (KVIFF) has revealed its latest selections through KVIFF Promises, a component of its industry program. The program has announced the works-in-progress projects from Central Europe slated for the KVIFF Central Stage showcase.
In addition to the Central Stage projects, KVIFF Promises has also introduced the first edition of Book-to-Screen at KVIFF. This new showcase aims to facilitate film adaptation deals for selected books.
Among the overall announcements, 11 upcoming films have been selected to be featured in these programs.
