Kogonada's Film 'Zi' Lands International Sales Deal with Parallax Films
Kogonada's latest film, "Zi," has secured an international sales agreement with Parallax Films. The deal, which covers territories outside North America, was revealed at the Shanghai International Film Festival. Set in Hong Kong, "Zi" follows Kogonada's earlier features, "Columbus" and "After Yang."

"Zi," the newest film from director Kogonada, has been picked up by Parallax Films for international distribution. This agreement specifically covers sales outside of North America. The announcement regarding the acquisition was made on the sidelines of the Shanghai International Film Festival.
The film is set in Hong Kong and was reportedly shot over a period of three weeks. Kogonada, recognized as a distinctive voice within contemporary American independent cinema, directed "Zi" following his previous works, "Columbus" and "After Yang."
According to Variety, this deal will bring Kogonada's latest feature to a wider global audience.
