Police received a report around 11 a.m. on Sunday concerning an incident at a building on Prince Edward Road West, near Portland Street in Mong Kok. The report indicated that one man had allegedly splashed a suspected corrosive liquid on another.
Officers, who arrived at the scene wearing shields, found a 41-year-old landlord and his 42-year-old tenant engaged in a scuffle over their lease. An unknown liquid was reportedly involved in the confrontation.
Both individuals were subsequently arrested in connection with the violent dispute.
According to the South China Morning Post, the incident occurred within a subdivided unit.
