Lisa Loeb Joins Belinda Carlisle and Other Rock Pioneers for 2026 Women's Rock Camp
Grammy-winning artist Lisa Loeb has been announced as an addition to the lineup for the 2026 Women’s Rock Camp & Fantasy Songwriter Camp. She will join a roster of prominent female rock musicians and hit songwriters, including Belinda Carlisle and Kathy Valentine of The Go-Go’s, Kate Pierson of The B-52s, and Cherie Currie of The Runaways. The camp, scheduled for November 5-8 in Los Angeles, provides women of various skill levels with the chance to learn from and collaborate with professional artists, culminating in live performances on the renowned Sunset Strip.
Lisa Loeb, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter known for her hit “Stay,” has been added to the artist lineup for the 2026 Women’s Rock Camp & Fantasy Songwriter Camp. The event aims to bring together women of all ages and musical skill levels for an immersive experience with professional musicians.
Loeb joins a group of female rock pioneers and acclaimed songwriters. This includes Belinda Carlisle and Kathy Valentine from The Go-Go’s, Kate Pierson of The B-52s, and Cherie Currie from The Runaways. Hit songwriters Beth Nielsen Chapman and Autumn Rowe are also slated to participate.
The camp is scheduled to take place in Los Angeles from November 5-8. It offers participants direct instruction from artists, alongside focused sessions on songwriting, rehearsing, and collaborative projects. Attendees will also receive mentorship and advice from female industry executives.
The program culminates in live performances by the campers at iconic Los Angeles venues on the Sunset Strip, specifically the Whisky a Go Go and the Viper Room. Britt Lightning of Vixen serves as the camp's musical director. The camp has a capacity for approximately 80 participants, who are evaluated prior to placement in appropriate skill levels.
David Fishof, founder and CEO of Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp, stated that Lisa Loeb’s inclusion further enhances what he described as an inspiring and impactful camp. Fishof emphasized the transformative potential of the camp, noting that over 30 years, participants have gained relationships, confidence, and knowledge that impact their lives and careers. He founded Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camps in 1997 and later developed the all-female version.
