According to Logitech's announcement, the company identified a trend where "72 percent of professionals own a mouse, only 26 percent actually use one when working in public places." This suggests the Mobi Fold is positioned to address the reluctance many users have about carrying a traditional mouse while on the go. The announcement did not detail the methodology behind these findings.
