During the court proceedings, Mazlan tearfully requested leniency, asking the court not to impose a jail sentence. She conveyed her remorse for attempting to have sex with another woman's husband last year. She also directly apologized to the man's wife, Puteri Norfatimah Ishak, aged 25.
The charges involved Mazlan and Hairul Mokhsin Zaini, 24.
