Argentina football legend Sergio Aguero and former England striker Ian Wright are scheduled to host three Live Chats each. A dedicated Football Community will serve as a central hub for match-day discussions, player content, and post-game debates. Additionally, Threads will offer Live Scores with national team branding, Team Flair for users to display country flag badges, new sticker packs, custom football and trophy emoji reactions for tournament posts, and aggregated media highlights. Game Reminders will also notify users of kickoffs and key moments.
**Instagram** is being positioned as a central hub for tournament-related content. An enhanced search experience will lead users to a dedicated destination featuring curated, real-time content from official broadcasters, national teams, and fan contributions. The platform is also globally rolling out an AI-powered 'Goal!' voice effect in Instagram DMs, which triggers a surprise animation.
**Facebook** is activating "football mode" with new interactive elements. Users can double-tap the Facebook logo in Feed to activate themed reactions and other surprises, along with gaining access to a special football game and custom app icon. The new "Wear It" feature will utilize AI to allow fans to virtually try on national team jerseys and share these images as profile pictures.
