Real Madrid's squad planning has reportedly gained momentum since the return of José Mourinho. According to reports from 'Marca' and 'Sky', Mourinho is looking to appoint a 2014 World Cup winner, Sami Khedira, as an assistant coach.
Khedira, a former Germany international, previously played for Real Madrid under Mourinho, who brought him to the club in 2010. This potential role would mark Khedira's first position as an assistant coach. Since ending his playing career, Khedira has primarily worked as a TV pundit and briefly served as an advisor in the management of VfB Stuttgart between 2022 and 2023.
