Olivia Rodrigo made her second appearance in as many nights on *Jimmy Kimmel Live* on Thursday, June 11, performing the world television premiere of her new track, "Stupid Song." The song is featured on her latest album, *You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love*.
During her performance of "Stupid Song," Rodrigo, dressed in a white t-shirt, a light pink skirt, and high-cut black boots, took her seat at the piano. She was supported by a full band and backing singers.
Her new album, *You Seem Pretty Sad For a Girl So In Love*, became available at midnight and includes the Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single "Drop Dead." Rodrigo is also scheduled to support the album with a 65-date Unraveled Tour. This tour will feature multiple-night stands in arenas across North America, Europe, and the U.K. during the fall and winter, commencing on September 25 at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, Conn.
During an interview on Wednesday night, Rodrigo discussed with Kimmel the process behind selecting which songs to release ahead of the album. She explained that last Thanksgiving, she played the entire album for her family, including aunts, uncles, and cousins, in Wisconsin. With the lights dimmed because of her shyness, her family then cast ballots to vote on what they believed should be the lead single. "Everyone liked 'The Cure' the most. That was the No. 1 that we got," Rodrigo stated.
