Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced on Saturday that a peace deal between Iran and the United States is anticipated to be finalized within the next 24 hours. He stated that a "final, agreed-upon" text of the agreement had been reached, with Islamabad working closely with both sides to facilitate the subsequent steps. The Prime Minister expressed confidence that this historic deal would lay a strong foundation for lasting peace.

A day prior, Prime Minister Sharif had indicated that a "final, agreed-upon" text of the peace deal between Tehran and Washington had been established. He added that Pakistan was actively collaborating with both nations to finalize the next stages of the process.
Writing on X, the premier commented, "We are closer to a peace deal than ever before." He also mentioned that Pakistan is making preparations for the electronic signing of the agreement, to be followed by technical-level discussions.
Prime Minister Sharif extended gratitude to the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their sustained commitment throughout the negotiations. He also conveyed appreciation to "brothers in the region" for their support.
He expressed confidence that this "historic peace deal will form a strong foundation for lasting peace."
