Qualcomm Unveils Snapdragon Reality Elite Chip for Next-Gen Smart Glasses
Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon Reality Elite, a new chip engineered to power future extended reality (XR) devices, particularly smart glasses. The chipmaker detailed its latest silicon at the Augmented World Expo, highlighting its focus on significant performance enhancements, including a 60 percent increase in GPU capabilities. This development follows a prior glimpse of a device utilizing the chip, the forthcoming Aura glasses for Android XR, showcased at Google I/O.
