Role Model has debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time, as his latest single, “High Hopes 3000,” entered at No. 94 on the chart dated June 20. Released on June 3 through Interscope/Interscope Capitol, the track's chart position was primarily fueled by 3.9 million chart-contributing U.S. streams recorded between June 5 and June 11.
In addition to its Hot 100 debut, "High Hopes 3000" also appeared at No. 19 on both the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts. The single is the lead track from Role Model’s third studio album, "Chuck Timely & The Hourglass," which is scheduled for release on August 7.
This achievement follows a period of increased recognition for the artist. His 2025 hit, “Sally, When the Wine Runs Out,” nearly reached the Hot 100, peaking at No. 2 on the Bubbling Under ranking. That song also found success on other Billboard charts, including a week at No. 1 on Adult Alternative Airplay in September, No. 3 on Alternative Airplay, and No. 4 on Rock & Alternative Airplay.
Role Model's previous album, "Kansas Anymore," became his first entry on the Billboard 200, peaking at No. 82 in August 2025. It also reached No. 10 on Top Alternative Albums, No. 4 on Vinyl Albums, and No. 11 on Top Album Sales. His debut studio LP, "Rx," first appeared on Billboard charts in April 2022, debuting at No. 11 on the now-retired Heatseekers Albums chart. Another song, “Writing’s on the Wall,” previously charted at No. 14 on Hot Alternative Songs and No. 25 on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs in January.
