S Jaishankar Addresses Europe's Weapons Sales and India's Russian Oil Purchases

India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar recently addressed what he described as Europe's "moral ambiguity" concerning global affairs.

Jaishankar stated that European nations have engaged in the sale of weapons to various countries, some of which have later been used in attacks against India. He emphasized that India, for its part, has not taken any actions that would cause harm to Europe.

In a related comment, Jaishankar also clarified India's stance on energy imports. He noted that India's decision to purchase Russian oil was made at the request of the United States.
