Sandro Tonali Reportedly Open to Tottenham Move as De Zerbi Pushes for Transfer
Italian midfielder Sandro Tonali is reportedly open to joining Tottenham Hotspur this summer. According to Italian transfer expert Matteo Moretto, Tottenham has "strongly" entered the race to sign the 26-year-old from Newcastle, aiming to make him a cornerstone of their project. Roberto De Zerbi is also reportedly pushing for Tonali's transfer to the North London club, where they would reunite. Other clubs, including Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal, have also shown interest in Tonali.

Moretto also claims that Roberto De Zerbi is advocating for Tonali’s move to Tottenham. Both De Zerbi and Tonali hail from the Lombardy region of Italy, and a move to Tottenham would see them reunite. Tonali made his Serie A debut in 2019.
Interest in Tonali extends beyond Tottenham. Moretto's report indicates that Manchester City and Manchester United have also expressed interest. Additionally, Fabrizio Romano previously reported that Arsenal had resumed discussions regarding the former AC Milan star.
