Television Actress Sanchita Ugale Dies at 22, Police Investigate
Television actress Sanchita Ugale, known for her roles in shows such as *Kumkum Bhagya* and *Wagle Ki Duniya*, died at the age of 22 on June 14. The incident occurred at her residence in Nalasopara East, Maharashtra, where family members found her and rushed her to a hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival. Achole Police have registered an Accidental Death Report and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Reports indicate that Ugale was found at her home in Sai Santoshi Building, located in Aachole Village. Family members and local residents transported her to the Vasai-Virar Municipal Hospital, where medical staff declared her dead upon arrival. The incident is believed to have taken place between 7 pm and 7:30 pm.
Assistant Police Inspector Vinod Bagh of Achole Police Station confirmed that authorities have launched an investigation. According to Bagh, Ugale had reportedly locked herself inside her bedroom and was later found hanging from a ceiling fan using a saree.
Police personnel arrived at the residence to conduct legal procedures, including preparing an inquest report before sending the body for a post-mortem examination. On June 15, based on a complaint lodged by her father, Machhindra Ugale, Achole Police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).
Police officials have stated that the exact circumstances leading to the incident have not yet been determined. Authorities are currently examining all possible angles, and further inquiries are underway.
Sanchita Ugale had established a presence in the entertainment industry over recent years. She gained recognition for portraying Diya Tandon in Zee TV's *Kumkum Bhagya* and also appeared as Ruchita Jaitley in *Wagle Ki Duniya*. The actress later took on the lead role of Sukoon in Dangal TV's *Dilwali Dulha Le Jayegi*, opposite Sorab Bedi.
