Tony Leung Announces Multiple New Projects, Chairs Shanghai Jury
Hong Kong screen legend Tony Leung Chiu-wai has revealed details of three upcoming productions. These projects include a film to be directed by Johnnie To, a separate project set in India, and a six or seven-episode streaming series in which Leung will portray a serial killer. These announcements were made ahead of his role as jury president for Shanghai.

Award-winning actor Tony Leung Chiu-wai, a prominent figure in Hong Kong cinema, has confirmed he has three new productions in development.
Among the forthcoming projects is a feature film collaboration with director Johnnie To. Leung is also slated to star in an independent project with an India-based setting. Additionally, he will take on the role of a serial killer in a streaming series, which is planned to run for six or seven episodes.
Leung disclosed these new endeavors while speaking to Variety. The announcements precede his upcoming engagement as the jury president for Shanghai.
According to Variety, these projects are currently in the pipeline for the acclaimed actor.
