Trump Adviser David Sacks Alleges Anthropic Refused to Fix AI Jailbreak
David Sacks, an adviser to former President Donald Trump, has stated that the U.S. government reportedly warned AI firm Anthropic about a jailbreak of its Claude Fable 5 model by a Chinese group. Sacks claims that Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei refused to address the flaw prior to the implementation of U.S. export controls. Anthropic reportedly defended its position, asserting that the jailbreak was not serious.

Sacks stated that a Chinese group had reportedly accessed Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 model through a 'jailbreak.'
According to Sacks, the US government informed Anthropic of this access. He further claimed that Anthropic's CEO, Dario Amodei, declined to rectify the identified flaw before new U.S. export controls were put into effect.
Anthropic, in response to the allegations, reportedly defended its decision by characterizing the jailbreak as "not serious."
