Trump Comments on Iran Deal and Israel-Lebanon at G7 Summit
President Trump, attending the G7 Summit in France, addressed the future stages of talks with Iran. He stated that a deal with Iran was complete and anticipated that the second stage would be simpler. During the summit, Trump also urged Israel to scale back its attacks on Lebanon, while G7 leaders concentrated on ongoing issues in the Middle East and the Ukraine wars.
President Trump, while present at the G7 Summit in France, offered comments regarding the subsequent phase of negotiations with Iran.
He indicated that a deal with Iran had been finalized, stating, "We have our deal done with Iran and it should be successful. It goes to a second stage which I think will be actually easier."
Additionally, Trump called upon Israel to decrease its attacks on Lebanon during the summit. The G7 leaders at the meeting were reportedly concentrating their discussions on conflicts in the Middle East and the wars in Ukraine.
