Universal Studio Group Consolidates UCP & Universal International Studios Under Beatrice Springborn
Universal Studio Group is reducing its operational divisions from four to three, following the consolidation of UCP and Universal International Studios. This newly merged entity, named Universal Global Television, will be overseen by Beatrice Springborn, who previously held the presidency of both UCP and Universal International Studios. The reorganization also involves the elimination of 22 roles across various TV studios, NBC, and Peacock, alongside the departure of several UCP executives.

Universal Studio Group (USG) is undergoing a structural change, decreasing its number of divisions from four to three. This reorganization includes the anticipated consolidation of UCP and Universal International Studios.
Pearlena Igbokwe, who serves as Chairman of Television Studios, NBC Entertainment, and Peacock Scripted, is spearheading this merger. The combined unit will operate under the new name, Universal Global Television.
Beatrice Springborn has been appointed to lead Universal Global Television. Prior to this role, Springborn served as President for both UCP and Universal International Studios.
The consolidation process has resulted in the elimination of 22 positions across the company's TV studios, NBC, and Peacock. Additionally, a number of executives from UCP are reportedly departing their roles.
According to Deadline Hollywood, this consolidation had been widely rumored.
