Unresolved Political Conflicts Undermine Middle East Stability, Says ALLMEP President
Avi Meyerstein, co-founder and president of the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP), recently appeared on France 24 to discuss the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. Meyerstein asserted that current regional crises are not isolated events but rather direct manifestations of long-standing, unresolved political conflicts that have been allowed to escalate over decades. He emphasized that any perceived stability in the region remains an 'illusion' unless these underlying issues are comprehensively addressed.

Avi Meyerstein, co-founder and president of the Alliance for Middle East Peace (ALLMEP), recently shared his insights on the Middle East during an interview with François Picard on France 24.
Meyerstein argued that the various crises currently unfolding across the region should not be viewed as isolated incidents. Instead, he characterized them as clear manifestations of political conflicts that have remained unresolved for decades, contributing to a prolonged state of instability.
He further observed that as long as these fundamental issues persist without resolution, any semblance of stability in the Middle East is merely an "illusion." This perspective highlights the interconnectedness of regional challenges and the imperative to address their root causes.
