‘Widow's Bay’ Creator Reveals Origins as ‘Parks and Recreation’ Spec Script

Dippold was a writer for 'Parks and Recreation' (2009-2015) when she developed the idea. The early version of the series was set in the fictional town of Pawnee, Indiana.
