AC Milan and Manchester United Set for International Friendly in Wrocław

AC Milan is set to face Manchester United in an international friendly match on Saturday, August 15. The encounter will take place at the Tarczyński Arena in Wrocław, Poland, marking another chapter in the storied rivalry between the two football giants.

Over the past quarter-century, AC Milan and Manchester United have engaged in numerous memorable competitive clashes. Manchester United, featuring Cristiano Ronaldo at the time, was eliminated by AC Milan in two UEFA Champions League ties: the Round of 16 in the 2004/05 season and the semi-finals in 2006/07. The latter included AC Milan's notable "Perfect Match" performance in the second leg at San Siro. Conversely, the English side triumphed over AC Milan in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 in 2009/10 and later in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 during the 2020/21 season.
