Australia's New US Ambassador Greg Moriarty Addresses AUKUS and Tariffs
Australia's newly appointed Ambassador to the United States, Greg Moriarty, has arrived in Washington D.C. Ambassador Moriarty affirmed the U.S.'s full commitment to the AUKUS security pact. He also expressed confidence in finding a resolution regarding the latest round of tariffs imposed on Australia by the Trump administration.

Upon his arrival, Ambassador Moriarty stated that the United States is "fully committed" to the AUKUS security agreement. This trilateral security pact involves Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Ambassador Moriarty also addressed recent economic measures. He indicated his belief that a resolution or "way around" the latest tariffs imposed on Australia by the Trump administration could be identified.
