Day three of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, held in Manchester, Tennessee, was impacted by severe weather on Sunday, June 14. The afternoon storms resulted in a temporary evacuation of Centeroo, the main festival grounds, and caused delays in the evening's scheduled performances.
Organizers paused performances just before 2 p.m. local time on Sunday due to storms in the area. Soon after, an evacuation of Centeroo was initiated, with attendees advised to calmly head to the nearest exit and seek shelter in vehicles. A statement published on the festival's social media indicated an expectation of 2-3 hours of moderate to heavy rain and lightning. By approximately 4 p.m. local time, Bonnaroo announced the severe weather had passed, but indicated that Centeroo required time for preparation before reopening.
The festival grounds officially reopened around 5:30 p.m. local time, and organizers released an updated timeline for the evening. New headlining set times included Modest Mouse on the This Stage from 9:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. CT, Kesha on the Which Stage from 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. CT, and Noah Kahan on the What Stage from 10:30 p.m. to 12 a.m. CT. The updated schedule was also made available to those watching the livestream on Disney+ and Hulu.
According to Billboard, the festival anticipated a "very muddy and LEGENDARY final night on The Farm."
