Chinese Student Leads Tech Startup Developing Drones and AI, Makes Philanthropic Donation
Wei Siyuan, a 19-year-old student in China, concurrently serves as the chief executive officer of a technology startup. His company specializes in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered equipment. Beyond his entrepreneurial endeavors, Siyuan is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts, which include a significant donation to sanitation workers at his former school.

Wei Siyuan, a 19-year-old student in China, has taken on the dual roles of a technology entrepreneur and a philanthropist. He is the chief executive officer of a startup company focused on developing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), commonly known as drones, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered equipment.
Siyuan recently graduated from Baoan Middle School in Shenzhen, located in southern China’s Guangdong province, last year. Following his graduation, he was admitted to Hunan University. Demonstrating a commitment to his community, he donated 100,000 yuan (approximately US$15,000) to the sanitation workers at his former school.
According to South China Morning Post, Siyuan leads a tech company while continuing his education.
