Eberechi Eze Expresses Readiness for England Penalty Shootouts
Eberechi Eze has stated his willingness to take penalties for England in a World Cup shootout, despite a recent miss during Arsenal's Champions League final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain. The attacking midfielder remains confident in his technique and is determined not to let past disappointments, including earlier misses for Crystal Palace, define his approach. He has dismissed suggestions to alter his spot-kick method.

Eberechi Eze has affirmed his readiness to step up for England in a World Cup penalty shootout, despite a recent miss for his club.
The attacking midfielder sent his kick wide last month when Arsenal lost on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final in Budapest. Despite this outcome, Eze stated he would not let the disappointment deter him from taking future penalties.
He maintains confidence in his spot-kick technique. Eze has dismissed the idea of changing his stuttered run-up to the ball, despite also having had softly struck penalties saved for Crystal Palace in games against Liverpool and Newcastle last year.
According to Guardian Football, Eze stated, “If there is a penalty to take I’ll be there again.”
