Electronic Arts (EA) announced the launch of EA Advertising on Monday, a new platform designed to integrate brands more deeply into its game portfolio. This initiative aims to transform how companies connect with audiences through both digital and real-world experiences within EA's global game offerings. The introduction suggests an increase in product placement and advertising across titles, including sports games like Madden and College Football, which already feature in-game sponsorships.

Electronic Arts (EA) revealed on Monday the launch of a new brand: EA Advertising. This platform is described as a system "transforming how brands connect with audiences through digital and real-world experiences across its global portfolio of games," according to a news release.
The introduction of EA Advertising indicates an expansion of product placement and advertising within the company's various game titles. EA's sports games, such as Madden and College Football, have historically included in-game sponsorships, an example being Lowe's partnerships within its football titles.
This new initiative is expected to further integrate brand messaging and advertisements into the gaming experience across EA's extensive library of interactive entertainment. According to Polygon, this move is likely to result in more ads in EA games.
