FIA Foils Alleged Fake NOC Travel Attempt at Multan Airport
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing in Multan successfully intercepted a government employee on Sunday, who was allegedly attempting to travel to the United Arab Emirates using a forged no-objection certificate (NOC). The passenger, identified as Mohsin Ali, a ward servant from the District Health Authority, Vehari, was scheduled to depart on flight PA812 from Multan Airport. Initial investigations suggest the fake NOC was allegedly arranged through another official, Naveed Imran.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Wing in Multan reported on Sunday that it foiled an alleged attempt by a government employee to travel abroad using a fake no-objection certificate (NOC) at Multan Airport.
The passenger, identified as Mohsin Ali, was attempting to travel to the United Arab Emirates on flight number PA812. He is employed as a ward servant at the District Health Authority, Vehari. During verification, the NOC presented for international travel was identified as counterfeit.
According to initial investigations, the forged NOC was allegedly arranged through an official named Naveed Imran, who is also posted at the District Health Authority, Vehari. Mohsin Ali has since been handed over to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Multan for further legal proceedings.
Attaur Rehman, Director of FIA Multan Zone, commended the immigration team's performance. He stated that strict actions against individuals involved in producing and using fake documents are ongoing. Rehman urged citizens to always utilize legal channels for international travel and to avoid entrusting personal information or documents to unauthorized individuals. He also appealed to the public to promptly report any instances of visa fraud to relevant FIA officials.
