Iran Claims Israeli Presence in Lebanon Violates Interim US-Iran Deal
Iran's top diplomat has stated that any ongoing Israeli presence in Lebanon would constitute a violation of the interim U.S.–Iran deal established to end the war. This assertion comes amid differing views from Israel, whose Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insists that Israel will maintain its presence in Lebanon for as long as deemed necessary.
Iran's top diplomat has asserted that an continued Israeli military presence in Lebanon would be in contravention of the interim agreement between the United States and Iran, which was forged with the objective of ending the conflict.
Conversely, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has maintained that Israel's forces will remain in Lebanon for an indefinite period, asserting their presence as long as he deems it necessary.
