'Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata' is set against the backdrop of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. The movie focuses on the bravery of doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at Mumbai’s Cama Hospital, highlighting their dedication to protecting and caring for patients amidst life-threatening conditions. The narrative specifically showcases the actions of healthcare workers, including nurse Anjali Kulthe, who reportedly helped save nearly 20 pregnant women during the crisis.

In addition to Kangana Ranaut, the cast includes Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey, Priya Berde, Asha Shelar, Suhita Thatte, Rasika Aghase, Aditya Mishra, and Zahid Khan, portraying characters inspired by overlooked individuals during the crisis.
