Marvel Comics has revealed "The Muppets Take the Marvel Universe," a new one-shot special slated for release on September 23. This unique crossover event will bring beloved Muppet characters, including Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, into the Marvel Universe alongside iconic heroes like Spider-Man and Black Panther. The special aims to commemorate the 50th anniversary of The Muppet Show.

Marvel Comics has announced an upcoming one-shot special titled "The Muppets Take the Marvel Universe," set to release on September 23. The publication is designed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Muppet Show by integrating Muppet characters into the Marvel Universe.
The main story will feature writing by Chip Zdarsky and art by Pete Woods. It will bring together Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Spider-Man, Black Panther, Wolverine, and Emma Frost. Additionally, Rowlf the Dog will be kidnapped by Mojo as part of a plot to launch a new streaming service.
The special will also include several backup tales. One story will see Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker collaborating with Bruce Banner and Hank Pym on an experiment involving Gamma Rays and Pym Particles, written by Kyle Starks and drawn by Mike Henderson. Another segment, by Ashley Allen and Paco Medina, will feature the Swedish Chef providing assistance to Doctor Strange when Clea falls ill from a mystical virus.
Further stories include Captain Link Hogthrob, First Mate Piggy, and Dr. Julius Strangepork encountering Rocket Raccoon and Groot in a cosmic adventure by MacKenzie Cadenhead and David Baldeon. Additional contributions are expected from Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Adam F. Goldberg, E.J. Su, and Áthila Fabbio.
