The Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) has issued a warning to its members regarding adherence to club rules.

Members are reportedly on notice for several specific infringements. These include the practice of reserving seats using personal items, such as scarves, a method the MCC deems unacceptable for securing seating. Additionally, the club is addressing members who consume alcohol in areas designated as dry bays, where alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Another concern raised by the MCC involves the misuse of guest tickets. Members who acquire guest tickets for major events without attending these events themselves are also subject to the club's notice.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, these measures aim to ensure fair conduct and compliance with established club policies.
