Mother Seeks Justice in Dominican Republic Retrial for Daughter's 2019 Murder
A mother from Cambridgeshire, in her 90s, is hoping for a conviction in the retrial concerning the 2019 murder of her daughter, Lindsay de Feliz. The retrial is scheduled to open this week in the Dominican Republic. De Feliz, a 64-year-old author, was found deceased in a shallow grave near her home in the north-west of the country in December 2019.
Shirley Firth, a Cambridgeshire mother in her 90s, is pursuing justice for her daughter, Lindsay de Feliz, whose murder in December 2019 is now subject to a retrial in the Dominican Republic.
Ms. De Feliz, aged 64 and a successful author, was discovered in a shallow grave close to her residence in the north-west region of the Dominican Republic. The upcoming retrial, set to commence this week, represents a renewed effort to hold those responsible accountable.
