Pokémon TCG Promo Cards and 2026 World Championships Details Unveiled

The Pokémon Company has unveiled a series of new Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) promo cards slated for the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP. These reveals occurred during the closing ceremonies of the Pokémon North America International Championships, where information regarding the 2026 World Championships Welcome Kit and Champion’s line was also shared.

Among the revealed TCG promo cards is the 2026 Paradise Resort card, which will be distributed within the welcome kits for World Championships competitors. This card represents a new iteration of the Paradise Resort promo, a staple for Worlds competitors since 2022, featuring a gold World Championships 2026 stamp and depicting Pokémon such as Pikachu, Sylveon, Archaludon, and Klawf in its background.

Another card, the 2026 Worlds Pikachu promo, is set to be available to participants at Worlds Celebration Tournaments hosted at Play! Pokémon Stores between August 21st and August 30th. This Pikachu card bears a World Championships 2026 stamp, alongside an image of Gardevoir and a city skyline featuring a bridge that resembles San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. Top finishers in these tournaments will receive a special variant of this card with a “Winner” gold stamp, accompanied by a microfiber cloth, deck box, and card sleeves. The Japanese version of this card was previously revealed during the Japan Championships. It may also be acquirable in-person at the World Championships and PokémonXP in San Francisco, and potentially online via the Pokémon Center with a specific code, mirroring the distribution of the 2025 World Championships Pikachu promo card.

The 2026 PokémonXP Rayquaza promo card will be exclusively available to all badged attendees of both the 2026 Pokémon World Championships and PokémonXP, featuring a distinct PXP stamp.

Competitors at the 2026 Pokémon World Championships will receive an exclusive Welcome Kit. Winners of the event will gain access to the Champion’s line, which includes merchandise showcasing two unique Pikachu designs: a male Pikachu adorned in king's garb and a female Pikachu in a space suit with Cosmog motifs.

Additionally, several exhibitors have been confirmed for PokémonXP, including prominent brands such as LEGO, Santa Cruz, Crocs, Funko, Stern Pinball, Build-A-Bear, Jazwares, Bandai, Spirits, and Sideshow.
