Red Cross Warns DR Congo Ebola Outbreak Peak is Ahead, Could Persist for a Year
The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) has issued a warning regarding the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Bruno Michon, the IFRC's operations manager for the outbreak, stated that the peak of the epidemic is not yet past but is instead anticipated to occur in the future. Michon also expressed concerns that the outbreak could potentially continue for up to a year before it is fully brought to an end.
