His statement came after a meeting described as “very good” between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and leaders from the Group of Seven (G7) nations at a summit in France.
President Trump arrived at the G7 summit, located in the lakeside resort of Evian-les-Bains, with a reported preliminary deal aimed at resolving the conflict with Iran. He also arrived with a renewed focus on concluding the war in Ukraine, expressing positive sentiments regarding his meeting with President Zelensky.
