Turkish Clubs Show Interest in Juventus Winger Edon Zhegrova
Reports indicate that clubs in Turkiye are beginning to express interest in Juventus winger Edon Zhegrova, who is expected to depart the Italian club after just one season. Trabzonspor has reportedly made initial contact to inquire about the 27-year-old Kosovar player. Zhegrova joined Juventus in 2025 for €15 million plus bonuses, but an adductor injury prior to his arrival significantly impacted his first season, limiting him to 366 minutes across 19 Serie A appearances, all off the bench.
Turkish clubs are reportedly stepping forward with interest in Juventus winger Edon Zhegrova. Juventus is expected to allow the player to leave the club after a single season.
Zhegrova joined Juventus on the final day of the summer transfer window in 2025, signing a permanent deal for €15 million, potentially rising to €18 million with bonuses. Reports suggest that former Juventus CEO Damien Comolli, who has since been replaced by Giovanni Carnevali, specifically wanted Zhegrova.
The Kosovar winger suffered a significant adductor injury in January 2025, before joining Juventus, which kept him sidelined for the entire second half of the 2024-25 season. This injury impacted his start in Turin, resulting in only 366 minutes played across 19 Serie A appearances, all coming off the bench.
With Comolli no longer at the club, Juventus is reportedly open to considering offers for Zhegrova during the summer transfer window. According to TMW updates, several clubs in Turkiye are showing interest in acquiring the 27-year-old in a low-cost deal.
Trabzonspor has reportedly contacted Juventus to request information about Zhegrova. While no formal talks have occurred yet, reports suggest that negotiations between the two clubs could proceed.
